I love my RP, I really do, but dealing with some of the background files, what they do, where they are, and how they work together kinda drives me nuts :P Could anyone help me out with this? I'd appreciate it tremendously. Could I fix it another way, maybe? And even if I do reinstall it (which I've already done), what if that doesn't work? Perhaps that could fix it? Sort of a pain, but I'm willing to, if need be. I'm thinking of removing all of the SNES-9x-2010 files and settings and uninstalling the emulator, then giving it a fresh reinstall from source. While it used to speed up quite a bit, just like every other console, now it increases by MAYBE a few percent? Almost unnoticeable, so like. I was simply trying to remove the core overrides that changed the default retroarch.cfg so that I could get all of my emulators to work the same, and as a result, the SNES emulator and ONLY the SNES emulator's fast-forward function doesn't work right. The latest is that after screwing around with various files, such as the numerous versions of retroarch.cfg in different folders, I ended up "breaking" the SNES-9x-2010 emulator, I think, or at least reset it somehow to the default menu driver (which I soon after had to learn how to fix :D) So I've had my RP3 for about three weeks now, still learning the odds and ends of it, and I've had some really annoying issues that have popped up.
